Danny Booker hails from Pomona, CA. At the age of 10, with the help of his father, Walter Booker Sr., Danny began working on the cars of friends and family. At the age of 16, he independently built a small block Chevy for his 1968 Camaro street car.

After graduating from high school, he immediately began working in various auto shops, which inspired his entrepreneurial itch. Danny decided to go into business for himself. His first purchase was a Texaco gas station in Pomona, CA. This made it possible for him to achieve his life-long goal of owning an auto repair shop, Booker Enterprise. Booker Enterprise was also in Pomona, CA.

Danny began his racing career in 1990, building a 1990 Ford Probe. He debuted his 1994 Chevy Lumina in 1994, at the Winston World Finals. His team, Booker Motorsports, was awarded and recognized for having the "Best Appearing Crew". Danny is currently racing in NHRA's Comp and PSCA's Outlaw Street. With his witty charm and his love for speed, Danny will continue to stay on top in the world of drag racing.
